84		Does fantasy always match reality? This is an issue very relevant to bondage: how many of us have fantasised about being bound and gagged for a whole day or overnight? Popular writers pen stories featuring heroine who are tied up for twenty-four hours (or longer) as the case may be. Some of my most popular stories have featured guys on the receiving end after playing up in front of wife or girlfriend; they always draw an enthusiastic response. But do you <i>really</i> want to be tied up like this for hours on end without any hope of escape or release? <p>

By this, I mean bound and gagged (it could also include being forced to wear rubber or rainwear etc) � whether you like it or not � and kept bound for the duration until SHE decides to let you out.

87		It�s important to remember that bondage, by its very nature is just that: it involves restraint, which over time can be very uncomfortable depending upon how the bindee has been bound and gagged. Other factors also capable of interrupting fantasies are cold (or heat), full bladders or just plain good old fashioned discomfort.

The killer was the ropes that Melai used to tie me to the bed� She�d originally wanted to leave me bound until the morning but my arms began to ache so I (somehow) managed to sweet-talk her into untying me�

100		The longest time that I�ve ever been restrained was 11� hours when I was mummified in �clingwrap�, tied down on the bed and left bound (overnight) by my ex in 2000. I didn�t get much sleep but it sure was fun though. The biggest problem was boredom (along with over-stimulation from the plastic and ropes): this is perhaps one of the most comfortable, yet secure ways to be bound.

(one of the strongest impressions that I get from her work is how much Helena enjoys tying and thoroughly dominating her girls�) The yellow raincoat fantasy opposite is one of my favourites. Alternatively, being forced to submit to a strict, sexy Asian dominatrix experienced with ropes and gags would be bliss.

102		Webmaster�s note: Personally I believe that many such bondage fantasies are achievable but a lot needs to go right on the �day� � it often depends how you�re feeling at the time. Age and fitness are also factors; it�s much easier to stand being bound for long periods of time if you�re young and fit. Training is also crucially important � you wouldn�t ask someone to tie you up for 12 hours if you�ve never been bound before, would you? Would you climb Everest without any mountaineering experience or regular exposure to high latitudes? Correct technique is also very important to prevent circulation problems (there�s nothing you can do about discomfort though).
