Most formally scheduled chats occur on Thursdays and Sunday nights although you'll find people here most days but the former are regarded as the best nights when a good turn-up is more or less virtually assured. <BR>

<font color=#000080><center>Generally, chats begin at around 10.00pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), which equates to:</center></font><BR>

8.00am - Australia (East coast)<br>
5.00am - Australia (West Coast) and the Philippines<br>
Midnight - Europe<br>
11.00pm - United Kingdom<br>
6.00pm - The United States (East Coast - New York, Washington)<br>
3.00pm - The United States (West Coast - LA, San Francisco etc)</CENTER>

The above times are during summer in the northern hemisphere (United Kingdom, America) and winter down south (Australia, New Zealand) <BR>

I hate mentioning such things as 'rules and regulations' here but there's always that tiny minority of pin-heads who have to go and spoil things for others.

Ask yourself how you'd behave when visiting somebody else's house. Would you abuse your host and other guests there? I don't think so.

That's how we feel about chatting here. It's the cyber equivalent of another person's home.
<p>
Therefore, all we ask is you behave with decency and respect for others sharing the room with you.

Additionally, because of the highly personal nature of our interests, the majority of people really value their privacy. Asking questions of a highly personal nature just isn't on, mate. It's OK to be interested and ask questions but please be aware that not everyone might want to be as open about themselves as you are. Therefore, please do not persist if the other chatter/s have made it clear that they do not wish to answer such questions. <BR>

The bottom line: Please treat other people the same way you yourself want to be treated.

</CENTER></B> If you accidentally stumble upon a private chat, it is courtesy to leave if politely asked to do so. Private chats may be arranged outside regular scheduled chat times.
