<CENTER><H2>Introduction - Why create Tied and true Tales?</H2></CENTER>

Initially, my original aim was to present a site where people could post and read original true and fictional stories focusing upon 'Love Bondage' as a genuine alternative to the SM and gratuitously pornographic smut so prevalent on the Internet.
<p>
Secondly, my original intent was (and still is) for Tied and True Tales to fulfil a niche between those far more explicit or 'hard-core' generally BDSM-oriented stories and the many childhood, self-bondage, adventure and damsel in distress tales existing on the Internet. While my tales are sexy and erotic; gratuitously pornographic they are not.

Additionally, Tied and true Tales was to have been a place where I could publish my own stories. I enjoy writing as well as penning quality bondage fiction very much. I've always wanted to have a site of my own where I could express myself through my stories. It has been a long held dream of mine since I began surfing the Internet. And I am happy to say that dream has become reality. 
<p>
Along the way, it became something much more than that. I've realised that by publishing such type stories, articles and related links, what a great way it would be to promote the concept of 'love bondage' to all those with any kind of interest at all in the ropes or alternative sexuality in a safe supportive environment.
<p>
And of course, I do aim to entertain as well� <B>;-)</B>
<p>
My aim then, is to show that one does not need whips or chains and so forth to enjoy bondage for its own sake. 
<p>
<i><center><h2>That is, simply being tied up and gagged solely for the pleasure of being bound</h2></center></i> 
<p>
No other - that is, Tied and True Tales primarily focuses upon erotic bondage where the pleasure comes from being securely restrained whether its ropes, chains, handcuffs or leather.  
<p>
Most of all, bondage is all about providing and receiving mutual emotional and sexual pleasure. The people I've met and chatted with feel the same way. I've got almost nil interest in being totally dominated, humiliated or forced into formal and ritualised 'slavery' relationships (other than the mild amount of necessary domination to add that delightful element of pure helplessness whilst being bound and gagged, where the thrill comes from realising that release is very, very far away! - it is part and parcel of the bondage scene you're acting out with your partner. That bondage can also be as sexual or non-sexual as the case may be). That's not to say there's anything wrong with what they're doing because BDSM is also an equally legitimate form of sexual expression. It might not appeal to me as such, but it is totally wrong to put down BDSM enthusiasts just because they enjoy taking it that one step further with everything it entails. Many people, many of whom I am proud to call friends, do derive an enormous amount of satisfaction or thrill out of such relationships or scenes.

Besides, freedom of sexual expression is something to be cherished and protected.

Being bound can form an essential element of foreplay before sex while for others, it might be about fulfilling fantasies such as the perennial favourite of the 'damsel in distress' scenario. As I've already said, the bondage is all, where the pleasure simply comes from being bound and gagged independently of sexual play. It's an emotional thing only those who really enjoy being tied up hand and foot are really capable of understanding. That wonderful feeling of helplessness is all! Look at the photo and I think you'll see what I'm trying to express - study the look of wonder in her face for a better idea of what I'm trying to say. To be honest, I can't wondering what thoughts are running through her mind when she realises that she really has been well and truly bound with no possibility of escape... You decide. :-)

Either way, the bondage is <i>always</i> consensual and loving.

In short, this site is about presenting bondage as a mutually enjoyable and loving activity between consenting adults. In other words, 'Love Bondage.'

By establishing Tied and true Tales, I also hope to clear a few misconceptions concerning 'Love Bondage'. It's as much about education as well as entertainment, a place where you can take your more vanilla partner if she's harbouring any fears about bondage in general.   
<p>
Who knows, they might even feel much better about bondage after reading everything here - but it's still up to <i>you</i> to make her feel loved and appreciated. Girls hate being made to feel that they are taking second place to your fetish or fantasy - I've made that mistake before and paid dearly for it. Have you ever met a girl who enjoyed competing with rope or a plastic raincoat for attention? (or some other similarly fetishistic object.) The bondage should be as much for her sexual pleasure as well as yours.

Lastly, this site is as much for the girls as it is for the guys. Bondage is not just a male thing!
