<div align="center"><h2>26 July 2007: Almost the cruellest cut...</h2></div>
<p>
Apolgies for the delay with our latest update: I decided to postpone posting everything out of respect for CaptivePenny, bondage extraordinaire (and equally good writer) who passed away earlier this month. I've also been somehat incapacitated (in a manner of speaking) after undergoing an operation for a skin condition called "phimosis" - perhaps the less said about it, the better: it involved perhaps (almost) the cruellest cut of all - I just had my dick circumcised a couple of weeks ago because the foreskin would not retract (for want of a better word) which made everything from pissing to penetration extraordinarily difficult - and at times painful: hence the necessity of this particular op - ouch! It's hard to feel sexy when it's all... - I think I've said enough for one day! (if you've ever suffered from this condition, I know how you feel : it's not fun at all. However, circumcision under a general anaesthetic is totally painless and I never experienced any pain afterwards other than acute discomfort during the first week or so when I couldn't wear anything except soft tracksuit pants)
<p>
On happier subjects, Melai and myself have just managed to resume our bondage games. Last night she tied me up but good in my plastic rainwear on our bed for a couple of hours while she chatted on the computer. I was simply - but very securely - bound: she crossed my hands over each other and bound them in a 'X', before tying my legs together at ankles and knees. But the killer was the ropes she used to secure me to the bed so that I wouldn't go anywhere. (Melai learned from the last time I escaped - when she'd decided that I should be bound overnight - I'd managed to climb out of bed and hop my way to the kitchen where I cut my bonds...) After tying me up, she pulled the (large) raincoat hood over my head and face, effectively cutting off 99% of vision, before gagging me with my favourite ball-gag and leaving me to it. Although I was happy to be untried after a couple of hours, I couldn't help wishing that it'd been longer... and it's on this bondage-y note that we kick off our latest update: I've decided to return to a weekly format - it suits me better: (although if I receive particularly interesting stories, links, pictures or articles, I'll endeavour to post them on the day)

We'll resume normal service soon - promise! It's also been particularly cold and wet lately (it's winter Down-Under): anybody got a couple of around-the-world air tickets we could use? Don't laugh! I'm serious! *g* ;-) Tahiti or Hawaii appeals... (or the Philippines... Melai has been kinda homesick lately - can't say I blame her considering the weatheer that we've had...)

<b><u>01 JULY 2007</u>:</b> - Apologies for my absence: I've been tied up in more ways than one lately... *g* In between, we've just added a couple of goldfish to our family - which we've christened "Jaws" and "Wiggles" - can you guess who named each? I found a (small) glass tank in a Salvo's store for next to nothing - but if I'd known how much the fish and essential acessories (filters, fake weed, rocks, food, water purifying tablets etc) were going to cost me, I probably might have thought twice before going ahead... But the look on Melai's face when she walked inside and discovering our piscatorial companions made the expense worth it! I'm however, not allowed to clean or prepare any fish on the kitchen bench (facing the living room) anymore out of deference to their sensibilities... Anyway, here's a few links to kick off July.

<b><u>25 JUNE 2007</u>:</b> - Melai managed to extract retribution last night. I spent a very long hour and a half in a rather tight - and quite inescapable - hogtie. I definitely wasn't going anywhere after being tied up! I did enjoy a relaxing evening though while she watched Filipino movies on Youtube before deciding to call it a night. That's when my situation became decidedly dicey. Melai said that I had to stay bound until tomorrow morning but I protested so loudly that she eventually gave up and untied me... *phew* I don't know if Melai was serious or teasing me, but I have a sneaking feeling that one day she might actually carry out her threat! Perhaps lying in wait for her behind the door, grunting through my gag to lure her inside, then grabbing her from behind didn't help. However, she's promised to rectify the situation tonight - with interest. I'm going to be tied up straight after dinner; it will be tight (hogtied and ball-gagged) and I can also forget about release until bedtime. I've never escaped from one of her hogties, so it could be a long evening.

<b>18 JUNE 2007:</b> - There's nothing worse than reality striking fantasy head-on as I discovered last weekend. I bought a great pair of PVC-lined nylon coated chest waders complete with attached rubber boots from the Salvos but they were really a little too small for me. How small, I would find out in a fairly embarrassing manner: I had to really push my feet inside each boot: but what goes inside doesn't always come out... It took Melai something like 10-15 minutes of concerted effort, a lot of huffing & puffing, and more than a few curses before she finally managed to help pry them off my feet. I've been banned from trying them on ever again...

<center><h2>11 June 2007 - It's been a difficult road less travelled</h2></center>
<p>
At long last I'm - we're - back... Please accept my apologies for my long absence - In response to everybody who wrote asking where I've gone: yes, I�m still very much alive and kicking although it�s been an extraordinarily difficult couple of months since Melai�s arrival Down-Under. I never expected it to be easy but everything�s been much harder for us than I thought it would be. She has been extremely lonely & isolated � it hasn�t been easy for her being separated from her family, relatives & friends) as well as coping with boredom, cultural issues, different food, our much colder climate as well as trying to find some kind of job.
<p>
We live in an exceptionally quiet neighbourhood (lots of old people around us) and we hardly know anyone which doesn�t help. It�s a community in name only. In the Philippines, everybody but everybody knows each other and are always popping around to say hello! There�s no such thing as privacy but you�re never lonely either� And that�s the rub.
<p>
The good news is that she�s feeling much happier now since we�ve finally decided on a plan of action regarding her job-seeking: because she has no qualifications (and she�s having heaps of trouble getting her nursing college to release her results to date because she hasn�t completed the course!! That�s Philippine bureaucracy for you!, finding anything worthwhile was turning out to be really hard and it was quite upsetting for her. Melai really wants to work and get out of the house at the same time. Anyway (to cut a long story short) she�s decided to study for her �Certificate in Aged Care�, which will qualify her to work in a nursing home and she began 2 weeks ago now. Melly is really much more optimistic & happy about everything at the moment now that we�re finally getting somewhere, she�s got a positive plan of action as well as having something to do and meeting new people, so I�m hopeful that we�ve turned the corner emotionally and relationship wise. It also affected everything sexually (read: bondage & rainwear) but we're also feeling our way forwards there as well: this is real life, not one of my stories! *g*
<p>
I was also forced to buy a new computer because my old one basically slowed down to the point of a crawl so I�m still adjusting to everything and that�s another reason I have not updated TTT for ages *sigh* Unsurprisingly, everything cost much more than I expected - Melai's visa expenses, moving costs and our new computer equipment so we're deeply in hock to the bank at the moment... we would really appreciate your help in helping defray our expenses as well as keep TTT going!

<center><h2>07 March 2007 - I just can't wait...</h2></center>
<p>
Less than one month to go now before Melai arrives Down-Under. She's already booked her plane tickets and we'll be together again just before Easter or "Holy week" as it's known in the Philippines. It's been too long - we will have been 1 year apart next Monday - and our relationship has been suffering for it. There's nothing like being together to cure most ills though...
<p>
Melai has also assured me that she is going to be much stricter regarding my bondage (and rainwear) 'discipline' than last time. Last year was a learning experience for her, she says. Now that she understands the visceral attaction of bondage (she loves being bound and gagged too), she's looking forward to drawing on her newfound experience... Melai says that once she's finished tying me up, I will stay bound until such a time she decides to release me. She will also bind me when and wherever she feels like it, she says.
<p>
Melly also reckons that if I like wearing plastic raincoats so much, she's going to oblige me - by requiring that I wear my raincoat every time we go out unless its obviously hot and/or sunny... Do you reckon that I can't wait or what?

Only one month to go now - before we're together again... 35 days or 840 hours to go!

At the moment we're both experiencing mixed emotions about Melai's move here - excitement certainly, mingled with more than a little nervousness because it's such a big step for both of us. It's not going to be like last time when we basically swanned around Victoria and NSW. We'll be living together - and more importantly we'll be working as well (that's not to say we won't play just as hard either...). In short, welcome to real life.

I have yet to buy a mattress for our new bed - a bondage freak I may be, masochist not :-) But considering the alarming prices that they charge for good quality mattresses though, the slats are becoming an increasingly attractive option.

<center><h2>21 February 2007 - It's all good news...</h2></center>
<p>
Regular readers will remember how I lost up to half of my hearing in less than three weeks last year (May 2006) after contracting labyrinthitis - a particularly nasty inner ear disease - along with losing my ability to discriminate between sounds (causing "thickness" and distortion). It really knocked me around - not so much physically as mentally because I was terribly, terribly depressed for months afterwards.
<p>
Finally though there is light in sight near the end of a very long, dark tunnel; the Cochlear Implant Clinic has approved my application for a cochlear implant (CI) and I am now officially on the waiting list! The doctors are unanimous about my prognosis for a successful outcome: they think that there is an excellent chance of my hearing being restored to the same - if not even better - levels that I enjoyed before my illness. I'll have to wait anywhere from six months to a year but I can live with that (it is free, after all)
<p>
To say that I'm happy about this news doesn't describe the depth of my feelings: if this works out, it will change my life in ways I'd never dared imagine. It will not restore my hearing levels to those that "hearing" people enjoy but it will be a vast improvement on what I'm enduring now.
<p>
Melai and I have also been busy planning and organising everything for her return and we've settled on a date: 5 April 2007, just before Easter! We really can't wait... As I said above, it's all good news!

Yes, Melai finally received her visa!
<p>
I cannot say enough how happy - and relieved - I feel for this. It's been a horrible and deeply stressful few months, wondering, always wondering if Melly would receive her visa. The Embassy hasn't got a great track record of delivering happy outcomes - but they actually said yes after waiting only 4 1/2 months (including the Christmas holiday break) - unbelievable! I was actually fearing the worst when Melai told me that her sister just texted her to say that a Fedexed letter had arrived in Kibungsod (her home town) last Saturday night after which I had to endure a fairly nerve-wracking two hour wait while she caught the bus home before reading everything... and of course the answer was yes! :-)
<p>
At long last the nightmare is over & we can really look forwards to seeing each other again & the future! The other good thing about all this is that we no longer have to endure the uncertainty - that's been one of the worst aspects of being apart for so long but now we can begin planning and organising everything for her return Down Under :-) Oh, and I also just can't wait for that time Melai decides it's necessary to tie and gag me (any time she feels like it, she says) or make me wear my plastic raincoat outside in public even if it's not remotely looking like rain! Melai takes great delight in telling me that she is going to be strict regarding my bondage "discipline"... I have a feeling that I'm bound for some interesting times indeed...

<center><h2>31 January 2007 - Sometimes you've gotta be firm & say no to pussy...</h2></center>
<p>
Nope, it's ain't what you think! I just rescued an Australian budgerigar from certain death a few minutes ago from one of the neighbour's cats while I was out walking Gizmo. I actually saw the attack take place on the opposite side of the road and that's when I realised what it'd caught. Budgies are not native around Melbourne so it was probably someone's pet that somehow escaped (I had this happen to me once and again it was another opportunistic cat which pounced before I had a chance to entice it back inside - so turning the tables on puss was particularly sweet!) The cat dashed back across the road before stopping within some shrubbery near their front door. Then it released the bird and that's when I realised it was still alive - so I confiscated it from moggie before taking it home. It's currently sharing a cage with my other budgie who is eyeing it very suspiciously. It's obviously injured - it's bleeding from a nasty puncture wound in the chest - (and in shock) so whether it lasts the night is touch and go. I'll take it to the vet first thing tomorrow morning if it's still alive and see what they say.

More good news: Everything is apparently going well (touch wood) with Melai's visa application. Her case officer actually rang Melai last week and she asked her to tell me that they require proof of my single-ness; i.e that I've never married, which I had no problem supplying via fax. They're obviously working on Melly's application and showing an interest in everything. Here's
hoping it comes through soon...

<center><h2>24 January 2007 - Amazing stories from the sea</h2></center>
<p>
A couple of great stories from the sea really captured my imagination this week: the first took place in Aussie waters. A Great White tried to eat an abalone diver yesterday morning and in fact it actually swallowed him - headfirst... Should've been end of the story then and there. One doesn't usually survive such close encounters with buzzsaws with fins. Incredibly he had one arm left free and he poked his toothy friend in the eye and it spat him out... how lucky is that?
<p>
The other nautical tale of derring-do and imaginative opportunism proves what an ass the law can be (except possibly for those intimately involved). Pommy (British) law says: "<i>Under the Merchant Shipping Act, people are legally able to salvage goods washed up on the beach so long as they notify the official Receiver of Wreck, an employee of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency</i>" and this is what happened: A huge container ship (the MSC Napoli) got into difficulties during the recent wild Europe storms and had to be beached off the English coastline - where 200 containers were washed ashore. Incredibly the opportunistic locals were allowed to rummage through everything, with many individuals helping themselves to $30,000 BMW motorbikes among other things - all perfectly legal... Cute huh? and with that we'll continue with more prosaic issues such as bound and gagged cuties....

<center><h2>17 January 2007 - it's time to get serious, folks</h2></center>
<p>
I just realised that Melai's arrival is only three or so months away. Sometimes time's got a nasty habit of creeping up on you - especially when I'm supposed to be losing weight so that she won't be greeted by a most un-manly physique on the great day when we'll see each other again... yes, I'm well overweight - and somewhat unfit!
<p>
I've stuffed around for too long - admittedly my chicken pox knocked me around a bit last year but that's not really an excuse... so as of this week (last Monday to be precise), I ditched all the Coke, beer & other fatty foods *sigh* - have you got any idea how hard it is updating TTT without a cold one or two to keep me going? - before returning to the gym... It's already paying off: I've lost almost a kilo since beginning and that really helps with the ol' motivation bit. Apart from the physical and health benefits involved, there's others but we won't go into those here! This is a family site! And with that in mind, I'll post my weight weekly with each update so you can all see how I'm going... how's that for motivation too?

The pole-tie is probably one of the most popular bondage positions (exceeded only by hogties and chairs) that many bondage aficionados enjoy. It looks great, it's easy to tie - and perhaps most importantly of all, once bound, she's going... nowhere.

It also creates any number of role-playing possibilities ranging from traditional DID, Cowboys and Indians to super-spy about to be shot at the stake... Melai (my fiancee) knows how to get up my dander - yesterday she gleefully reported how it's been raining for a week in Mindanao and that she'd worn her plastic raincoat to school... aaargh! We still havn't received any rain since late last year - other parts of Victoria - yes: but not where I live and it's kinda frustrating to say the least. How I long to slip my rainwear on and... The good new is that they are tipping an end to our awful draught (some country towns have received just 1/4 of their normal rainfall last year) in late March - just before her arrival Down Under... that's good news or what? We're really looking forwards to resuming our rainwear - and bondage games together...
<p>
2007 seems to be a year for milestones - today we post our all-male (rainwear) pictorial spread. For those wondering: why? TTT is all about bondage and rainwear. We believe that being allowed to express yourself sexually is very important and that's why we're more than happy to provide space for guys wishing to send us bondage and/or rainwear images of themseves. Remember that we like being bound and/or raincoated as well!

<center><h2>03 January 2007 - Happy New Year!</h2></center>
<p>
Sorry for our late update - too much ham, turkey, pudding - and beer finally caught up with your friendly webmaster... Anyway, I'd like to wish everybody a very happy New Year and we sincerely hope that 2007 will be a year when your hopes and dreams are fulfilled - along with good health and prosperity for everybody here. We normally steer clear of anything political - there's nothing that divides people more than this vexatious subject - but I will say that if I have one wish, it would be for global peace - along with an associated reduction in military spending and a much greater emphasis on meaningful aid and trade programs which would do more to foster good relations between countries than any amount of guns, tanks or bombs!
<p>
On happier subjects, 2007 will also be a special year for Melai and myself with her arrival Down Under once she receives her fiancee visa - and our marriage in May (yes, we WILL be posting some of our wedding shots here!). Melai has also earnestly promised me that she will strictly enforce our bondage contract once she's here... - can you feel me shaking in my boots?
<p>
Today also marks a major milestone for TTT with our first 'amateur' bondage and rainwear pictorial galleries from several of our contributors - and we would like to say thank you very much for sharing your wonderful work with us! It's "real" people, ordinary folks like us, who do so much to illustrate what a loving - and fun - form of sexual expression that bondage and/or rainwear can be.
